Our services aren’t possible without the help of our amazing volunteers
Without their continuous support and generosity, our doors would not be able to stay open. We have a team of over 100 volunteers, all working in specific areas of the organisation, who devote their time to helping others. Our volunteers help us run the shops, sort the donations, create food parcels, deliver clothes and food, provide financial advice, and much more. Our fantastic team of volunteers pour their heart and soul into making our Waikato community its best.
There are three categories of membership and volunteering for the Society:
Conference members belong to the grassroots groups within the Society known as conferences. They live their Catholic faith in action through the spirit of Christian charity.
Associate members are committed to the ethos, mission, aims and objects of the Society and assist our work, but do not attend conference meetings.
Volunteers respect the ethos, mission, aims and objects of the Society and give their time to volunteer in any of our works.

Volunteers are essential for our non-for-profit to continue to succeed, and therefore we are always looking for more people to help. The best way to find yourself is to get lost in the services of others.
